The Role
As a Telephone Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with financial advisers across a specific region the UK working in partnership with a field based BDM / BDD. You will play a key role in promoting the firm’s alternative investment propositions, generating interest and increasing fund flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with financial advisers and intermediaries via telephone and video calls to introduce and promote alternative investment solutions.
- Proactively develop and manage a book of adviser relationships, driving new business and increasing assets under management (AUM).
- Educate advisers on the firm’s investment propositions, market trends, and opportunities within the alternative investment space.
- Work in partnership with a field based Business Development Managers / Business Development Director to maximise adviser engagement and sales opportunities.
- Deliver engaging webinars, presentations, and training sessions to enhance adviser understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline management using CRM systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a telephone-based sales, account management or business development role within financial services.
- Knowledge of alternative investments, tax-efficient products (EIS, VCT, BPR), or private equity is an advantage.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and educate financial advisers.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ambition to progress into senior sales roles.
