Job Title: Business Development Director – DFM Provider

About the Company

Our client is a long-established and leading discretionary fund manager (DFM) in the UK, known for delivering impressive AUM growth through strong partnerships with financial advisers nationwide. To support their continued expansion, they are looking to hire a seasoned Business Development Director (BDD) with a proven track record of success in the DFM space in teh Southwest.

The Role

As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for generating new business flows from financial advisers across the Southwest of England. You will build strong relationships with new and existing Financial Planning firms within the region to drive new asset growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with financial advisers in the Southwest region.
• Promote the firm’s full suite of DFM solutions / investment propositions to drive inflows.
• Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and training sessions with financial planning firms.
• Work closely with internal investment, marketing, and support teams to optimise client engagement.
• Provide market insights and feedback to enhance product offerings and adviser support.

What We’re Looking:

• Proven track record in business development within financial services, preferably in discretionary fund management (DFM) or MPS.
• Strong network of IFA contacts in the Southwest region.
• Excellent relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a high-performing team.
